MEDICOLEGAL REPORTING
Dr David Wilson can provide expert witness reports for legal claims involving all types of musculoskeletal injuries and negligence, including the spine. Dr Wilson’s primary interest is in the application of modern imaging techniques to disorders of the locomotor system. He has undertaken original work in the application of diagnostic ultrasound to joint, muscle, and soft tissue disease with particular attention to joint effusion and congenital dysplasia of the hip.
He has considerable experience in percutaneous spine therapy including chemonucleolysis, automated percutaneous discectomy, intradiscal electrothermal therapy, kyphoplasty, and vertebroplasty. He has particular expertise in the clinical management of chronic back pain and insufficiency fractures.

All records are kept in premises secured by police monitored alarms with full Data Protection Act registration. We will receive and handle the paperwork and images. Original images are returned immediately to their source allowing other parties early access to shared material. The documents and conventional images are scanned and stored in secure servers in an encrypted format. Electronic images are stored in a lossless electronic format using “DICOM” format storage. This provides the ability to review the material on high-resolution diagnostic workstations at the full resolution that was available to the original medical team. The case material is then made available to the reporting practitioner who has exclusive access to the documents and images using password-controlled 128-bit encryption.
