Research

hospital.jpgOur practitioners consider that good medical practice depends on continued monitoring of outcome measures and forward thinking research. At St Luke's we employ a full time research co-ordinator who has a Masters degree in medical ethics and also is vice chair of one of the NHS Oxfordshire Research Ethics Committees. At St Luke's we have several active research programmes studying clinical and physiological subjects. We manage research grants from the National Institute of Health in the USA and work in close collaboration with overseas sites including several European Universities, the Mayo Clinic and other US academic institutes.
